In 1992, Amanda Bossard began her study of marine biology in Anchorage at Alaska Pacific University. Bossard began her career in the commercial seafood industry at the age of 1999, after she began working aboard the F/V Sunset, a 65' halibut schooner that has been a salmon tender for Murat Aritan. He has been an commercial fisherman from 1993. Bossard is now engaged to Aritan and they've united to make their claim to the market.
